INSPIRATION FOR A BOHEMIAN ROOM

Created for my Professional Practices class at FIT, the goal of the project was to select furnishings, finishes, and fixtures, and create purchase orders and invoices for the client. Along with these invoices and POs, a design for a bedroom was also required. With different styles and tastes, each student developed a different looking bedroom. I decided to go for a light and warm, modern bohemian style bedroom with stained woods, traditional Eastern rugs, and various patterned throw pillows. I also chose a few furniture pieces in a rattan material to help bring more warmth and nature to the room. On the left is the various pieces I chose, put together as a mock bedroom layout. On the right are inspiration images, materials, accessories, and furnishings.
